First of all, I want to say I’m sorry for my English. It’s not perfect, but, luckily for you, I’m a Spanish teacher, not an English teacher. So, no problem!
My name is Nuria, it’s an Euskera name, and it’s very commom in Catalonia (I’m from Barcelona) and this is why a lot of people think that it’s a Catalan name. My name means “land between mountains”, and in fact, in Catalonia, there is a valley called “La Vall de Nuria”, so I have a valley! It’s a very beautiful place… like me! I’m joking, I’m not a place.
Well, as you can see, I love to share things about me, my culture and traditions as well as learning more about you and yours. Learning a language is so much more than learning words, it’s also understanding another way to think, and opening windows, doors, portals… to beautiful places that you didn’t even know that existed. So… Do you want to open these doors with me?

Experience
I have a Spanish Philology Degree, and Specific Courses for ELE, from Instituto Cervantes. I’ve been a techer for six years, the last four I’ve been teaching Spanish and Catalan for FC Barcelona. I do one-to-one private lessons and group lessons. I always do my best and teach practical and efficient lessons… And, of course, humour is granted! How sad would life be without some sense of humor!
Some more about me… I’m a friki, as we say in Spanish. In english, you’d call me a geek or a nerd. Or a unicorn! I love science fiction, video games, reading, time travellers in blue boxes, Halloween, Hogwarts, live music, spending time with my family, my dog, travelling, and teaching Spanish!!!
